{"id":93193,"date":"2018-08-10T15:46:43","date_gmt":"2018-08-10T06:46:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=93193"},"modified":"2018-08-10T15:46:43","modified_gmt":"2018-08-10T06:46:43","slug":"hawaii-typhoon-surfers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=93193","title":{"rendered":"Hawaii Typhoon Surfers!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7393.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"186\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93198\" \/><br \/>\nwe paddled out at 7am and the waves were super small.  each minute, the sets were growing and growing.  i haven&#8217;t seen the waves on the South shore grow that fast ever!  in an hour, Bowls was closing out!  it&#8217;s called a Typhoon in Japan, and a Hurricane in Hawaii.  either way, we surfed a historical day!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Screen-Shot-2018-08-10-at-3.26.34-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"718\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93194\" \/><br \/>\nNao-san caught some sets from Bowls.  while she was paddling out, the mountains kept rolling in and breaking on her head.  my friends were saying &#8220;hey, you better go help her.&#8221;  i said &#8220;no way, she can do it.&#8221;  they said &#8220;no way she can come back out by herself.&#8221;  i said &#8220;watch!&#8221;  and guess what?
