{"id":93786,"date":"2018-08-27T14:42:17","date_gmt":"2018-08-27T05:42:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=93786"},"modified":"2018-08-27T14:42:17","modified_gmt":"2018-08-27T05:42:17","slug":"coach-to-kids-be-humble","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=93786","title":{"rendered":"Coach to Kids:  Be Humble"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7962.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93792\" \/><br \/>\ni wasn&#8217;t going anywhere this morning because Hawaii was watching the Little League World Series Championship game.  so yeah, i was yelling and screaming in my room.  the game was amazing and we won!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7951.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93796\" \/><br \/>\nthe kids were amazing.  truly inspiring&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7965.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93793\" \/><br \/>\nall these kids are now super famous.  i&#8217;ll be watching all their dreams come true because a couple of these kids will be major leaguers.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7956.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93787\" \/><br \/>\nafter the game, the Hawaii coach came out and said &#8220;hey kids, be humble.&#8221;  something i totally respect&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7957.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93790\" \/><br \/>\nthroughout the World Series, the Hawaiian kids were giving hugs to everybody.  that&#8217;s the island style i love so much.  Aloha from the heart and these kids are learning at such a young age.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7960.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93791\" \/><br \/>\nreminded me of my little league days.  we never won and my coach would always yell at me and beat me up.  the other players use to say i deserved it.  haha.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7964.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93788\" \/><br \/>\nthe Hawaii coach is amazing.  a real big role model for the kids and for the whole world.  so much Aloha and so much giving from the heart.  i was in tears listening to his words to the kids.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7966.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93794\" \/><br \/>\nthen after winning the game, the Hawaii team went to the South Korean teams side and thanked their fans.  total respect!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_7969.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93795\" \/><br \/>\nand yeah, kids will always be kids.
