{"id":94342,"date":"2018-09-13T05:46:15","date_gmt":"2018-09-12T20:46:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=94342"},"modified":"2018-09-13T05:46:15","modified_gmt":"2018-09-12T20:46:15","slug":"free-wave-pool-surfranch-in-hawaii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=94342","title":{"rendered":"Free Wave Pool:  SurfRanch in Hawaii!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-12.29.16-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"716\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94335\" \/><br \/>\nwe hardly get hurricanes coming to Hawaii so the ocean is so unpredictable.  i never expected the afternoon conditions to be like this.  it was so glassy that i felt like i was in Indonesia or something.  we call this &#8220;The calm before the storm.&#8221;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-12.29.29-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"718\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94334\" \/><br \/>\nPark-san on Day 2 Boot Camp.  charging the big sets all by himself.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-12.29.47-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"722\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94332\" \/><br \/>\ni just love to ride the same wave, take photos, and watch the happy facial expressions.  when the ocean makes people so happy like this, it makes me happy like this too.  that&#8217;s what connects us to each other.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-12.28.12-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"724\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94331\" \/><br \/>\nanother amazing day for all us surfers that were in the ocean yesterday.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-12.31.03-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94336\" \/><br \/>\nafter my 3rd round, i seen Chizu-chan in the parking lot.  she was getting ready to paddle out and i told her &#8220;the waves are so freaking good.  be back soon.&#8221;  i was back soon and the waves got even freaking better!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-12.30.41-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94333\" \/><br \/>\nafter Chizu-chan caught this super long left, she paddled back out smiling and said &#8220;this is like the Surf Ranch wave pool  it&#8217;s so perfect!&#8221;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-1.03.02-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"756\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94329\" \/><br \/>\ni caught a wave after and when i was paddling back out, i saw her take off on one of the most beautiful waves i&#8217;ve ever seen.  it was peeling from Rockpiles left all the way across to Bowls.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-1.03.17-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"752\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94330\" \/><br \/>\ni was yelling as she was flying down this perfect wave.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-1.03.32-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"807\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94337\" \/><br \/>\ni surf here almost everyday and only seen this perfect swell direction with perfect light off shore winds like this a couple times in the past 10 years.  it was so perfect you couldn&#8217;t even call it Rockpiles.  beats Kelly Slater&#8217;s wave pool by a hundred times.  not man made, it&#8217;s mother nature made.  can&#8217;t be ever duplicated so this is the only wave like ever since this world was created.  think about that for a minute&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-12-at-12.31.48-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"744\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-94340\" \/><br \/>\nthen Chizu-chan paddled back out and got another one and another one.  no smelly chlorine and no entry fee for this free water park!
