{"id":99186,"date":"2019-02-23T11:07:34","date_gmt":"2019-02-23T02:07:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=99186"},"modified":"2019-02-23T11:07:34","modified_gmt":"2019-02-23T02:07:34","slug":"go-pato","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=99186","title":{"rendered":"Go PATO!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99188\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2270.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>it&#8217;s been a while since i spent a night out in Waikiki. \u00a0walking around at night seeing so many tourists having a great time. \u00a0our economy is still on a super bubble!!!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99187\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2269.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>just like the college days when we use to warm up with a few beers in the car before a concert. \u00a0sitting in the parking lot, listening to the music of the artist we will be seeing shortly after. \u00a0it makes my blood heat up&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99189\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2298.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>head to Blue Note Waikiki to see Pato Bantan!!! \u00a0omg, this guy was my absolute favorite reggae master of the 1980&#8217;s. \u00a0his music and lyrics so positive and so uplifting. \u00a0 the last time i seen Pato was back in 1987!!!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99191\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2281.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>this time, we were front row and got up and personal with him. \u00a0he was letting the crowd get into his music. \u00a0look at Maki-san go! \u00a0Go-Pato!!!!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99190\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2320.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>i was sitting right next to the stage actually resting my left arm on it, and my beer in my right. \u00a0i haven&#8217;t had a great time like that at a concert in years. \u00a0Pato gave me energy, positive vibes, and lots of happiness&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99192\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2330-e1550886913635.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/>Naoka didn&#8217;t even know who Pato Bantan was until now. \u00a0and i&#8217;m sure he will never forget him&#8230; \u00a0i&#8217;ll get into the story later of how Pato has been in Carter and my life since the 80&#8217;s&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99194\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2333.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>but first, had to wake up bright and early for an amazing surf at Diamond Head. \u00a0perfect again!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99195\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2335-e1550886891260.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/>Mai-chan giving me the positive vibrations just like Pato!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99196\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2343-e1550886922118.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/>and took her to my favorite bubble tea spot. \u00a0the best in Hawaii!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99197\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_2336.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"481\" \/>and my favorite chicken rice lunch place too. \u00a0another amazing day and it&#8217;s not even over. \u00a0going to pick up Seira-chan right now for an evening to sunset session. \u00a0be back later&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>it&#8217;s been a while since i spent a night out in Waikiki. \u00a0walking around at night seeing so many tourists having a great time. \u00a0our economy is still on a super bubble!!!
