\"\"\u00a0had such a great time with Father and Daughter this morning. \u00a0Kaoru-chan surfing for her first time, and Kouta-san surfing for the past 50 years. \u00a0yes, i said 50 years!!!\u00a0\"\"\u00a0Kouta-san is the kind of surfer i respect very much. \u00a0surfing for half a decade and still loving it. \u00a0started out at 20 years old and never gave it up. \u00a0watching him on the shortboard really inspired me today…\"\"\u00a0Kaoru-chan on her very first wave of her life! \u00a0she rode so many long waves and kept on coming back out for more. \u00a0 amazing energy! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0imagine getting a passport, going abroad for the first time, and landing in Hawaii? \u00a0i’m sure Kouta-san was enjoying this moment in the calm ocean watching the canoes going by…\"\"\u00a0and riding waves into Diamond Head. \u00a0it goes to show you that it’s never to late to come to Hawaii! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0Kouta-san is 70 years old young. \u00a0i was so happy to take him and his daughter surfing in Hawaii for their first time. \u00a0and i was also happy to hear his stories about Japan’s surfing culture back in the 1970’s. \u00a0the stories about the “Crazy Family” of Tokyo surfers. \u00a0be back later to tell you more about it…\"\"\u00a0then took this wonderful family to a wonderful lunch…\"\"\u00a0spicy seafood noodle soup. \u00a0the best on the island.\"\"\u00a0then picked up the boys for an afternoon session. \u00a0Hattori-san and Kundo-san loving life on the longboard…\"\"a few people asked how my cut is doing. \u00a0well, it’s been over 2 months and it’s still not fully healed. \u00a0give me another few weeks and it should be all good again… \u00a0thanks for asking.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
