{"id":99699,"date":"2019-03-11T16:18:28","date_gmt":"2019-03-11T07:18:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=99699"},"modified":"2019-03-11T16:18:28","modified_gmt":"2019-03-11T07:18:28","slug":"secret-vs-no-secret","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=99699","title":{"rendered":"Secret vs. No Secret"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99707\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_2748.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>hanging out yesterday evening watching the most amazing sunset. \u00a0 it was then Asayama-san and i decided where to surf today. \u00a0straight to our secret spot only accessible by Mayuki&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99701\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-11-at-11.42.26-AM-663x399.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"399\" \/>i was watching Bowls all day and it was good, but very crowded. \u00a0every hungry surfer on the island showed up and every wave had 2-3 surfers on it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99704\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-11-at-11.38.53-AM-663x463.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"463\" \/>it was the total opposite for us. \u00a0many unridden waves, bigger, and thicker.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99702\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-11-at-11.39.12-AM-663x429.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"429\" \/>Asayama-san probably caught his best waves on the South Shore. \u00a0no stress when there&#8217;s nobody around. \u00a0 i foiled the biggest and hollowest waves i&#8217;ve ever attempted. \u00a0 i&#8217;m practicing for this summer because i plan to charge some big sets at Bowls and Big Rights. \u00a0that dream is going to be reality this upcoming Summer&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99703\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-11-at-11.38.33-AM-663x412.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"412\" \/>i told Asayama-san that we can&#8217;t take photos here. \u00a0it&#8217;s secret and the only place on the island you will find an empty barrel on a Sunday. \u00a0but i&#8217;ll never forget Asayama-san&#8217;s amazing waves he caught today. \u00a0no fear and very calm. \u00a0as for me, i was freaking out and pretty scared taking these drops with my foil. \u00a0haha&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99700\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_2737.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>thank you Asayama-san for the Yoku Moku!
