{"id":99906,"date":"2019-03-18T15:01:43","date_gmt":"2019-03-18T06:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=99906"},"modified":"2019-03-18T15:01:43","modified_gmt":"2019-03-18T06:01:43","slug":"a-sunday-in-paradise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=99906","title":{"rendered":"A Sunday in Paradise&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99910\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-18-at-1.25.08-PM-663x373.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"373\" \/>so happy to surf for the first time with Miura-san this morning. \u00a0it&#8217;s his very first time in Hawaii, and his very first wave in Hawaii. \u00a0so stoked to capture the moment!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99909\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-18-at-1.24.28-PM-663x374.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"374\" \/>and also stoked to capture the stoke right after his first Hawaiian ride&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99913\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-18-at-1.26.44-PM-663x375.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"375\" \/>Miura-san surfs at Isounora which happens to be the most crowded surf spot in the world. \u00a0so being out in the open without hundreds of people around him must have felt so good.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99908\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-18-at-1.26.04-PM-663x397.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"397\" \/>paddling out after each wave with the biggest smile. \u00a0both of us&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99911\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-18-at-1.26.24-PM-663x373.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"373\" \/>so calm, so cool, and so happy!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99912\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-18-at-1.28.09-PM-663x375.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"375\" \/>before we paddled out, i gave Miura-san a little lesson on surfing. \u00a0he&#8217;s a teacher in Japan so he knows well how he wants his students to follow directions. \u00a0so being the student in this situation, Miura-san followed directions very well and his surfing life will never be the same. \u00a0 he caught the best waves in his 20 years surfing career this morning! \u00a0so stoked for him!!!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99907\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_2998.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"481\" \/>then first time eating pho too. \u00a0good surf, good food, and good life. \u00a0thank you Sensei!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99914\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_3001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>i felt the winds switching so i went to pick up Asayama-san and went to check out Diamond Head in the afternoon. \u00a0 absolutely perfect conditions!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99915\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-18-at-1.28.41-PM-663x379.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"379\" \/>i had my foil so like always, nobody wanted to surf near us. \u00a0haha. \u00a0we had our spot all to ourselves&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99916\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_3011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>then went for a Sunday evening cruise. \u00a0another perfect day in paradise&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>so happy to surf for the first time with Miura-san this morning. \u00a0it&#8217;s his very first time in Hawaii, and his very first wave in Hawaii. \u00a0so stoked to capture the moment!
