When you surf with your friends, it’s always good to share the waves. We call it “splitting the peak.” That means paddle for the same wave, one goes left, and the other goes right. It takes wave knowledge and good communication to do it. Everybody goes home happy.
This morning was still fun. No wind so very calm conditions. Mighty Mouse enjoying her 5’10.
I would say that this is the end goal. To be able to paddle into a wave on your own, ride a professional surfers high performance short board, and surf it well.
Mayuki has been broken for 3 weeks. Today I spent a few hours trying to fix it and I think I finally figured it out! Next is to give it a test ride and if everything goes well, it’s back to fishing, diving, and surfing trips.
