Ala Moana waist high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 15mph.
Sun, showers, and rainbows.

Had a great time surfing with Chiemi-san.  Today was the biggest waves of her life.  Good surfing, good style, and good rainbow!  

Being in the ocean is so peaceful.  The only bummer now is you can actually hear the Hilton Hotel strikers picketing from the ocean.  Yes, their voices carry all the way out to the lineup.  But it’s still pretty peaceful to be in the ocean with lots of waves and rainbows.

It’s been over a month of the picketing and yelling everyday now.  When will it end?  Nobody knows.  I know people that are picketing now and I also know how hotel management works.  Both parties are not in a good place.  We can just hope they come to an agreement soon because this really makes Hawaii look bad.  I feel sorry for the tourists staying in the hotels around there because it’s noisy from dawn to dusk.

The 30 year storm hit Taiwan yesterday.  Super Typhoon Kong-Rey smashed the East coast, right were I was planning to go soon.  I hope everything is ok.
