Good morning 3am.
Ala Moana shoulder high.
Diamond Head head high.
Trade winds at 15mph.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.

Round 1:  Ala Moana Bowls dawn patrol.  The waves were super fun from the east direction.  Another weird swell direction but the girls know how to surf anything.

It felt and looked like a totally different surf spot but the girls love the challenge.  Mighty Mouse loves days like today.

Rocky is getting better and better at hunting for good waves.

Lots of laughing and giggling after todays session.  It was that amazing!

Round 2:  The wildest day at Diamond Head.  Thank goodness they cancelled the Molokai to Oahu women’s canoe race that was supposed to happen today.  The channel was looking deadly.  Nobody should be in that channel on days like this.

Mighty Mouse loves the challenge.  Nobody was out today so she had the whole wild ocean all to herself.  I saw some cars pulling up to check the waves and immediately leave.

These 2 girls were walking by and saw the big waves.  Then they saw a surfer out there and said “omg, there is someone out there!”  Haha.  Even the firefighters in the back were surprised to see a girl paddle out in those conditions.

Mighty Mouse went all the way to the outside and caught some big sets.  It was so cool to see how far she’s come at one of the hardest waves to surf in these conditions.

Yesterday once more:  Victory at Sea!
