Two Rounds of Surfing!

Round 1:  This morning was so beautiful!  Sunny sky and long rides.  Kimura-san caught some really nice waves.  He’s been surfing for over 50 years and is an inspiration to all the younger generations.  Look at that smile!

68 years old and still surfing strong!  Many more years ahead.  Keep on surfing Kimura-san!

Round 2: The storm just arrived this afternoon!  It was cloudy, rainy, and dark.  So dark that you couldn’t even see Diamond Head.

I love surfing in these conditions.  Right when the storm hit, the winds turned offshore.  The waves got really good and Ogasawara-san was taking advantage of the perfect conditions.  First we started off on the longboard.

Then she graduated to the shortboard.  An easy transition and much more speed and flow.  Ogasawara-san has only been surfing for less than a year but she’s progressing super fast!  Keep on surfing!

Presidents Day Round 1

Round 1:  Fun chest high sets at Bowls.  Warm weather and clear water.  Kimura-san with the long ride!
