good evening. it’s been raining and pretty wet here in hawaii these past few days. i love it. this is our winter and everything is going to get greener. had some fun waves in town. surfed kewalo’s with toda-san, takami-san, and maki-san. i’ve known these 3 awesome surfers since the day i went to japan almost 17 years ago. i’m so happy that their still my friends. because i was a young out of control foreigner that couldn’t speak japanese at that time letting loose in japan. they must have thought i was nuts…. haha… thanks guys for sticking around…

i just got back from a pretty awesome haunted house. i know it’s halloween eve but i heard that tomorrow nights line is going to be even longer….

there was a long line and it was freakin raining. but it didn’t stop anybody from waiting. i passed by this house about 2 weeks ago and they were already preparing for it. and get this, it was free… check it out tomorrow night, it’s on aina koa street near kahala mall. boo….

kelia just got back from tahiti on a full roxy trip with world famous photographer jeff hornbaker, and videographer sonny miller. i saw some of the photos she took and it makes me really want to go there again. and i can’t wait to see the photos roxy puts out…

this is kelia hanging out with that tahitian roxy model. i will never forget that photo of her kissing the dolphin. one of the coolest photos i’ve ever seen in my life…

good morning. 6am thursday morning. waves on the north shore dropped and the conditions look a little bumpy. town is clean but looking small. seen a waist high wave at bowls and one guy is out already. trade winds pretty strong so waikiki to kewalo’s is your best bet today. have a nice day and see you in the water…

ok, it’s out!!! the new surf1st in japan. there is a pretty big article on the south shore of hawaii. got some family and friends in there…. by the way, that’s amami oshima’s tetta mori on the cover. where is that spot? secret spot in hawaii. sorry, can’t and won’t tell…

“KEEP ON SMILING”… what an awesome title. that’s what the south shore is all about, keep on smiling… check out my little nephew seth moniz driving off the bottom on a pretty solid wave at another secret spot in hawaii. this is one of the best water shots i’ve ever taken. why? because that’s family….
