Round 1: Oshima san on a perfect one!

Yesterday once more:  The Endless Summer…

Good morning 3am.
Ala Moana waist high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 20mph.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.

Round 1:  It was a beautiful Saturday morning.  Sunny sky, warm water, and perfect waves.

I couldn’t believe how brave this kid was!  Tyler caught so many good waves and rode them all the way to the wall.  Prefect balance, perfect style, and perfect smile.

Not even Splash Mountain at Disneyland can bring out a smile like this.  Tyler was so happy today.  It was such a wonderful session watching this kid turn into a real surfer.

Papa Kota-san is already a real surfer.  Nice and smooth surfing.  Surfing with his son today was probably a dream come true.

Round 2:  Hashimoto-san wants to take his surfing to another level.  Today we talked about it, and tomorrow we will apply it.

This is the process.  Doing it over and over until it’s muscle memory.  Not it’s time to build other sorts of muscle memory.  Get ready!
