this is Shirahama Beach. Honda sponsors beach cleanups around japan and showed up with 200 volunteers. such a great thing to do for the people, and for the environment. i have a much better respect for Honda as events like these show that they really care.

they walked up and down the beach picking up every single piece of trash.

there is also a volunteer diver who dove over 20 times since the tsunami looking for survivors. and still diving till this day. a true hero!

i was actually sad when i seen this photo. just a very driven man never giving up. and to know that there are still a lot of men, women, and kids still missing breaks my heart.

left to right:
Saito-san, thank you very much for supporting We Are One from the very first day. you are a very kind man and i’m very happy to have met you through our missions. it is something i will never forget.
Ryoko-san, omg i would love to eat some of that cow tongue you are holding. always great to see your smile and thank you for bringing our team closer to the people of ishinomaki. you’re an angel.
Matsu, my friend for 22 years. you have grown up to become the most perfect person and friend. throughout the years, i use to always tell everybody that you are the nicest person in the world. now, everybody is telling me the same thing. i wish i could be as nice as you and i’m striving for that someday. but until then, please don’t give up on me. haha.
Kimura-san, you are the last samurai. i still remember every trip and every time we met. going to Tohoku and meeting you changed my life. i truly respect you and can’t wait to have another great time in ishinomaki together.
We Are One!
