“Hey Uncle Kirby, you’re a crazy man!” Haha.

i get up yesterday morning and the waves looked smaller and slower. so i decide to stay home, clean my yard, sweat, and go out and warm up Mayuki.

i got out and it was such a beautiful day! the waves looked slow so i went outside towards diamond head in full speed. if you don’t know, there is absolutely no speed limit in the ocean. yeah, so i can go as fast as i want when ever i want. FREEDOM!!!!

then i was about to come in and i could feel the ocean moving. yes, the ocean woke up and started to pulse. good thing i had my surfboard! i throw anchor paddle out to bowls as it was going off!!!

ever since i came back to hawaii, the waves have been getting better and better. i caught 6 perfect sets in 30 minutes and i was so satisfied!!! one of my best sessions in a while. check out local boy Ronnie setting up to get barreled. such a perfect wave!

typhoon season is in full swing in japan. EXCEPT, this is not japan! this is a big hurricane heading straight for hawaii!!! omg!

it’s expected to hit us this friday and saturday with heavy rain and super strong winds. get ready as everybody in hawaii is going into panic mode starting now! and guess what? there is another big storm right behind this one. we haven’t had a hurricane in a long time and i think we’re due.

and check out this super typhoon heading to japan right now. going to be some big waves and big damage. everybody please be safe.

heard about the japanese guy that jumped out of the airplane while it was running? what’s going on in this world???
**anyway, although there are storms heading our way, please don’t panic. just strap everything down around your house and don’t do anything stupid like hiking or diving. but surfing is ok. haha.
