was happy to join the family in a teddy’s burger hamburger lunch. so many happy faces!

then went to pick up Minamino-san for an awesome afternoon session. first, we started it off with a sweet shave ice before we even went to the beach. Minamino-san got food poisoning this morning so she wasn’t feeling well when i picked her up. i knew exactly where to take her to make her stomach feel better and put a smile on her face. rainbow shave ice!

i drove home this evening again thinking “wow, what another amazing day!”

had a great time with the 2 boys yesterday. it’s their first time surfing, and also their first time to hawaii. luckily the sky was blue and the weather was warm.

Ryo-kun did an awesome job riding such long waves. i can’t believe this kid is only 15 years old. a big boy with a super fast baseball fastball.

and yes, after catching a good wave, the big smiles come out shining.

Shun-san caught a lot of long ones too. just perfect surfing enjoying every ride. good job boys today!

the last swell, they said the Eddie was a go three days before. now that is 3 days before the next swell, i’m pretty sure the contest will be on this thursday. or maybe they will call it off because the surf might actually be too big. no matter what conditions it is, i think Eddie Would Go! we shall see.
