having a fun time watching the kids grow older. the things they do remind me of the things we use to do at that age.

been having so many barrels of fun! i actually got barreled 5 times today.

today it was so fun watching Takahashi-san getting his first ever barrel! after 35 years of surfing, he made his first deep hollow barrel. i saw him fly out of the barrel and when i seen him raise his two hands up in the air, i knew he was stoked!

went to Izakaya Naru for dinner and drinks. so surprised to walk in and see a table reserved for us. this is first class service. little things like this can go a very long way.

yes, we’ll be going back there again, and again, and again. it was awesome!

they came with the flame and cooked it right on our table. super cool! and very delicious!

i have a alcohol tester in my car. before i drive home, i use it to test my alcohol content. it’s the exact same one the police use so it’s pretty accurate. the legal driving limit is 0.07. i blew a 0.069 so legally, i’m ok. i’m 165lbs. or 63km. i had 4 draft beers and 3 glasses of water in 2.5 hours time. you can try to guess your alcohol content and take the chance of going to jail, or going free. for me, i don’t break the law so i always drive legally. and this is the best way to do it.

wow, did you watch the WQS Toyota Pro in australia? super stoked to see Josh Moniz ripping it through the rounds. he made it all the way to the quarterfinals. so stoked to see Josh having a good start to a good year!

now the boys are surfing the next contest, the Australian Open. good to Shun Murakami already in round 4! the boys ripping. Josh surfs today in round 3 and i’ll be watching. go boys!

yesterday was amazing. perfect from the morning to the evening. it must have felt good for the newlyweds to be paddling out in paradise.
