spent the last 2 days surfing my totally secret spot. head high and super good waves. of course nobody out so just the wild ocean and me. no photos available because i like to keep secrets a secret.

heard about the shark that bit a lady in the arm and died? she went to the hospital like this. crazy story!

heard about the guy that held the plank pose for 8 hours and now holds the world record? i still barely can make 2 minutes. 30 minutes is still my goal. inner muscle man!

want to thank Mai-san for the wonderful time in hawaii. and glad you are back in akita enjoying your beautiful life. yes, someday i want to go there to surf and snowboard in the same day. that will be a dream! until then, keep on enjoying life in your beautiful prefecture!

but for now, i’ve been planning my island hopping route. going to take Mayuki around these beautiful islands in the future. just stop over island by island. surf, dive, explore, and see some amazing things hawaii has to offer. i’m actually pretty excited!

and no, i still didn’t forget about my challenge to paddle the molokai channel. i can sense the day will be soon. going to go dust off my paddle board under my house and get it ready for the big day!

went to my sisters house last night for a bbq. every night, they would roast 2 ducks.

this time, there was a lot of people so we roasted 3 ducks.

then the bbq started. i spent 4 hours on the grill and had to cook everything.

haha. just joking. my brother actually cooked everything perfectly. i just stood in for the photo when he went to grab something from the kitchen. haha.

local style. just a wonderful family bbq. and no, we didn’t kill and cook any ducks. those ducks are the neighborhood pets. but honestly thought they would taste pretty good.
