The Ocean is Alive…

Diamond Head overhead and bumpy.
Trade winds at 20mph.

wow, today was another very long day in the ocean.  we started off at Bowls this morning and the waves were much bigger than yesterday.  and good conditions too!

i think Boot Camp really works because this girl got so good so fast!

Round 2 was a Friday afternoon Boat Trip.  we drove around looking for a wave with nobody around and found the perfect one.

overhead and perfect.  it’s amazing how we surfed with 50 surfers at Bowls this morning, then only us this afternoon.  it was the perfect way to end this happy Friday!

after my early morning Round 1, i went out again for mid-morning Round 2 with a couple of happy Tokyo girls.

Makiko-san was loving the long rides.  Calm and cool…

Yumiko-san learned how to turn today and she was turning very smoothly.  Calm and cool…

i had a great time with these girls.  the waves were perfect so they got to experience some excellent long rides.  by the end of our session, they were surfing a 100x better.  it was so cool to see!   

i had to treat myself to some sweets after a long day in the beautiful sea.  after all that salty water, i need some sweetness…
