ohayo gozaimasu. get up early and hitting the road. surf/dive/happy life…. have a nice day….
when i’m in hawaii, i wear large spice surf trunks and it’s a little baggy. when i’m in japan, day by day, the large starts to shrink. haha.. i mean, my stomach gets bigger so the large gets small. i don’t have to jump on a scale to figure out how much weight i’ve gained in this past 5 weeks i’ve been in japan. i can feel it every time i put on my trunks. 10lbs easy. but 10 happy pounds….
ok, in hawaii, us divers look for the high prized fish, the kumu. in okinawa, the divers here look for this fish. it’s called “makubu.” it supposed to taste really good and is very expensive. i seen one the other day but i didn’t have my spear. lucky fish…
this is another really good tasty fish here. don’t know the name of it but imagine getting bit by one of these? look at the teeth. i went to the fish auction down at the port around the corner a few times and this fish sells for top dollar….
and last, a good friend of mine in shonan is bringing in the Honey Girl line. i was going through the website and seen some nice bikini’s, or should i say, nice chicks. pretty cool webite and pretty cool blog…. keep up the good work eri-chan..

kimura-san and atsuko-san left back to wakayama the other day. this was the moment that made me think. made me think about the friends i have and made me think how caring and respectful people can be. we were at the airport which is like an hour away from our hotel. there’s busses, taxi’s, and many ways to get there. but not in okinawa. if your a close friend of the locals here, you get treated with the upmost respect and get vip treatment. everybody dropped everything they were doing and headed to the airport to say their bye bye’s. things like this brings tears to my eyes. happy tears. gosh, i feel so welcomed here that i don’t want to leave. and at this pace, i don’t think i will ever leave… haha… but just wanted to take this time to thank kazubo-san family, mago-san, jun-san, satoru-san, takahashi-san, kimura-san, kinsan, kara-san, sato-san, taizo, tadasuke, the staff at the beach, hokulea, island message, hard reef, and too everybody thats made me feel so welcomed here. i will never forget the way you guys have been treating me.. i really really appreciate it….. much mahalo….
