good evening. another dark day here in hawaii. rain and clouds but the waves were going off on the north shore. i was busy getting my boards and diving gear ready for tomorrow. i feel like it’s going to be my first time surfing or diving. i probably ain’t going to be able to sleep… but i’ll try.. goodnight…[]
i use to be paranoid about eating street food in third world countries. for the first 10 or so years of traveling, i wouldn’t even think about trying it. now a days, i pretty much charge anything. i guess my stomach must be pretty solid now. i know a lot of people that would probably get sick eating this, what ever it was..
i think this was pork. well, that’s what the guy said. this lunch with mochi rice cost me 50 cents. and it was pretty dam good. so good that i rode my bike 40 minutes back there the next day to eat it again.
i was driving by waimanalo the other day so i stopped by my friend Abe Leonard’s nursery. Green Flamingo Nursery that is family owned. or should i say, surfer/musician family owned. mike and abe leonard surf all over and are the coolest guys you’ll ever meet. and gosh, if you want to see green nature, you should go there and check it out. feels like your in a paradise jungle or something…
got some pretty cool and trippy looking plants. if you want to do some hawaiian landscaping, the green flamingo nursery is the place to go…. thanks a lot abe for the plant… here’s the number for directions. 808-259-9200
