i went to Wakayama and decided it’s finally time to bring home my special board that Glenn Minami made for me many years ago. i asked Glenn to make me a twin fin from the 1980’s, the same kine Dane Kealoha and Button’s use to ride. it came out so good that i didn’t even want to ride it all these years! 
people are going to freak out when i ride this. it’s every surfers dream board!

the technology these days is incredible. it makes me want to travel more and more now…

ok, remember i told you about Delta Airlines making surfboards free? yes, i had to test it out for you guys because i really couldn’t believe it after paying $150/one way all these years. 
i check in and it was free! omg, i’m so happy! now every time i travel, i’ll take my board for sure. thank you Delta! 
i order an Uber from the airport to my house. this guy pulls up in a little sports car and says “um, i don’t think that surfboard bag will fit.” i told him “i’ve been doing this for 30 years so just stand on the side.” haha. 
if there is a will, there is a way. never say never! haha…
