Sayonara means "Bye bye"

here on my last day, i checked some recent news because i wanted an update on the radiation situation. i found other some pretty crazy news on that topic and others.
1. a japanese judo instructor was training a 6 year old boy. he slammed and slammed him on the floor during practice and the boy died. he was found guilty and was sued one million yen ($13,000). that’s a small amount for a kids life.
2. even though japan’s legal limit is 10,000 becquerels per kilo, some 307,000 becquerels per kilo were found in the soil in the capital of fukushima prefecture.
there is much more but i’m going to stop now. too depressing.
i left to bali and it was super hot in japan, one week later, it’s freezing cold. summer is over, autumn is here. you know what that means? BIG WAVES ON THE NORTH SHORE! i can’t wait to paddle out to backdoor at 5am and get my first north shore barrel! see you there.
i have a long flight home with some serious jet lag ahead. it will be a long week of sleepless nights and exciting days. back to life, back to reality! sayonara japan!
