when we pulled up to Bowls, i told Nanami-san that the waves were just a little bigger than yesterday. well, i lied. it was much bigger than yesterday so i was wondering how she even made it out? haha.. but she did 3x! welcome to my Boot Camp! Nancy is from Boston and it’s her first time to Hawaii so i’m ready to show her what surfing in Hawaii is all about. today was a great introduction day! look how big this wave is! Gavin always so cool and so calm… look how beautiful it was today! clean perfect rides… seen the school of “Omilu” swimming by these past few days. i really want to eat one of these! Seira-chan is really connecting to the ocean. surfing good waves and seeing turtles, dolphins, and even a Hawaiian monk seal. good eyes girl! i didn’t even tell her but i handed her a board she never seen before. and she adjusted to it pretty easily… today was just a little introduction day. tomorrow will be yelling, screaming, and more Boot Camp. get ready girl! seems like our group is getting bigger and bigger. gosh, this is so amazing to surf all at once with everybody! see you guys again tomorrow! then it was time this evening to get serious. a day of high risks and learning about yourself. hey Fujiki-san, welcome to the new world of Foiling!Toda-san and Takami-san are the biggest supporters. they have decades of experience in surfing and traveling so they can pass their knowledge to my students. just another perspective that will teach the next generations to come…
