went down early this morning to finish putting in the new batteries. it made me feel much better about crossing dangerous channels now. one less thing to worry about…
then i had to get gas so i wanted to check out the newly opened marine gas stand at Kewalo’s. much closer and much cheaper too!
the Kewalo Basin Harbor is where all the charter boats go out of. it’s actually kind of busy there…
put in gas and it was only $378.59! not too bad, and not too good. haha. but now i’m gassed up and ready to go to Molokai again so i’m not complaining!
wanted to catch some dinner on the way in so threw out the anchor, grabbed my speargun, and caught dinner.
i dropped down and waited for all the fish to start coming around me, i spotted out this big Pananu’u kind of far away. i just waited and waited until i got the shot. it was 46′ deep and i was down for 1 minute 48 seconds. my lucky day…
the waves were looking super fun. tomorrow i’m foiling this wave!
filled up my bucket with fresh fish and tako, then headed home. this is the kind of lifestyle i want to live when i get older. healthy, peaceful, and happy….
