every time i see kelia and temari, i think about the good old days. the cute kids, talking back, to driving cars, to boyfriends. yuck! but, i’m pretty fortunate to have so many nieces and nephews. watching them grow and go through every stage in life is pretty funny. i can see myself in all of them, all the bad parts of course. haha. i was a terrible kid but you know what? that terrible kid learned really fast. street smart is better? or book smart? i use to say street smart, but now, i think you need both to make it in this crazy ass world. good luck girls!
this is noah fukunaga. he was the first kid that made me an uncle. having a beer with him the other night talking about life hit me. it hit me in a way that “shit, i gotta start treating this kid with more respect. i gotta be there for this kid more. i could see so much in noah that it made me actually scared.” this kid went through every stage in life possible and when he snaps out of the youth craze, he is going to make a fine young man. i’ll be there for this kid forever.
