last week Imamura-san and i went to the East side. and while i was passing by Waimanalo, i thought it would be nice to pick up some Lilikoi Butter. i pull up to the house and i was looking forward to seeing one of coolest guys in Waimanalo. i’ve been going here for many years and Tony was always so welcoming to me and my friends. BUT, i see the banner over the garage and my emotions went from happy to very sad…Tony is on the right and i’ve been visiting him for 20 years. he’s the Lilikoi Butter maker and every one was bottled with love. i took this photo years ago and this was just one of the memories with him.throughout the years, i would take so many people here so they can experience both the Likikoi Butter, and also experience the aloha…Imamura-san has never met Tony before but she was lucky to get the last batch of the remaining Likikoi Butter he made. just want to take this time to thank Tony and his family for all the years of aloha. your butter and aloha will surely be missed…
