Things Looking Positive…

204

for the past 10 days, Diamond Head has been absolutely packed in the early mornings!  BUT, yesterday i woke up at 4am and there was heavy rain, lightning, and loud thunder.  i wanted to exercise anyway and was surprised how empty it was!  gosh, i wish it rained every morning!  it was the least crowded day every since this coronavirus started.  i scored!   back to the lost dog.  i came home and seen this dog running down my street without a leash.  then i seen a Japanese girl walk by 2 minutes later.  i assumed it was her dog. then she passed me and a minute later, i seen the dog running straight for me.  i froze!  she came up after and i asked her if it was her dog.  she said no.  i yelled for my brother, he ran out and after he saw the dog, the got scared too.  haha.  so he threw the girl the leash.  i told my brother to grab the leash and bring the dog home.  he said “you do it.”  i said no way.  so the girl came to my house and tied the dog to the pole.  she must have thought my brother and i were idiots.  haha…i turned on the water and he was super thirsty.  of course i stayed 6′ away.  social distancing!  haha.  small dogs scare me, but big dogs freak me out.  i’d rather paddle into a 40′ wave than walk a scary dog like this.  look at Beachwalk!  totally empty and totally closed.  i couldn’t believe it…people ask me my opinion about the coronavirus.  so far we have 517 cases, and 9 deaths.  our government is doing a good job and i think things will get better soon.  hopefully by June, Hawaii should be back to normal.  but until then, exercise, wear a mask, social distance, and always look forward…
