the biggest mistake people make on doing a cross step is by not taking a big one. the bigger step you take, the more stable you are. look how Kelia takes her step. the bigger step, the better balance, and faster you will get to the nose. and it looks good too! so if you’re trying to do a cross step and look good, just copy Kelia. notice her front hand raised in the air. that’s super important to keep the weight on her back foot. and if you are regular footers, i flipped this photo in photoshop so you can see how it’s done regular stance. super easy right? so now go try it!
