i checked everywhere today and ended up foiling at Ala Moana. this was Diamond Head mid-day. windy and nobody out…
took a drive around town and was happy to see everybody outdoors again. cars and people everywhere.
Kaimana Beach looked like a holiday! 
tents, barbecue, and happy locals everywhere. everything looking better than ever for outdoor activities.
then took a drive through Waikiki. little more cars, little more people walking around, and just a few shops open. 
i stopped by Local Motion to so some shopping. this is the time to support Hawaii businesses so every sale counts. i encourage everybody out there to go spend money to the businesses that have the courage to open up when most of Hawaii is still closed. so nice to see Maki-san too. anyway, i swore to spend my $1,200 stimulus check on Hawaii because that’s what it’s for. so i’m going shopping again tomorrow.
