good morning. wow, the waves have been soooo fun here in hawaii. seems like the summer just doesn’t want to end. been surfing town and it’s been super fun, super uncrowded, and super good! i pretty much surfed as much as a surfer possibly can. i’m pretty much dark as a japanese can. and i’m pretty busy, but with the water being my main office, i can’t be complaining.
i stopped by the moniz house yesterday and the boys were getting ready for a dive. i lined them up and shot this photo. in 20 years, this will be a classic! oh, i also heard a rumor that 3 of these boys in this photo made the world junior team that will be representing Hawaii next year in Peru. stay tuned for the names!
it’s so funny how seth always gets left behind with the heavy buoy. and it’s so funny how seth is the youngest but still caught the biggest fish of all the big boys till this day. his ulua will go down in the history books for sure. and i’m glad i was there or i would never believe it.
give a boy a fish, he can eat for a day.
teach a boy to fish, he can eat for a lifetime.
i’m pretty sure my sister and tony are pretty dam happy. their monthly food bill will be going down and down in the future. you can’t beat eating fresh fish from the ocean in your backyard. good job boys!
and you know what the coolest thing is? this boys are forming a bond that will last forever. and these boys are staying healthy, staying out of trouble, and on their way to a great future!
