so good to head out to the North shore early in the morning and spend time in the water with the boys. when i use to surf with guys like Kaiborg and Uncle Brian before, it was more of a competitive arena. it was our job to get the best wave of the day and there was a pecking order to follow. that means when a set comes, these guys would get first choice of any wave they want. now is different. these guys share. no competitive vibe, everybody just going with the flow. it’s pretty cool to see how foiling can change ones mind and soul…
