i’m not a really big fan of italian food. but now i am. we had dinner last night at this italian restaurant in naka-meguro, tokyo called Coccinella. the food was amazing!!! i haven’t enjoyed italian food like that in my life….
the atmosphere was pretty cool. really dressed up people and staff. i just felt kind of embarrassed wearing shorts and slippers…
this was my favorite. the raw fish carpachio. is that how to spell it?
and the dessert? oh my gosh. we say in hawaii “BROKE DA MOUTH”….
anyway, i wanted to thank scuba pro’s umino-san, ishikawa-san, otomaru-san, and uehara-san for the great dinner and great time. see you guys next in molokai?
last, umino-san’s friend owns the restaurant. he kept asking me if i knew a famous italian model guy named jiro. i told him that i didn’t. the only jiro i know is the jiro who plays the guitar and turns into kikaida. anyway, if your japanese, your supposed to know this guy. but if your from hawaii like me, you probably haven’t seen him in your life… so i just wanted to say sorry jiro-san for not recognizing you. all i know about you is that your restaurant has the best italian food i’ve ever eaten in my life…. chau….
