i really wanted a challenge today so i waited until the wind got stronger, the waves got bigger, and went to challenge Diamond Head. it was pretty big and very wild. it’s very hard to surf on days like this, and foiling is unthinkable.
i love unthinkable. so i took out my foil and caught 4 pretty big waves. made 3 successfully and had a major wipeout on one. it was very exciting and felt like surfing in a washing machine. it’s days like this when you have to connect to the ocean, and to your equipment. now i can’t wait to do it again because it felt like i had the whole ocean to myself.
i had to pick up parts at Ford so i walked through the showroom and saw this beauty.
i was curious on how much it will cost so i went to look.
omg, almost $80,000!!! and that’s not including tax and registration. i can’t believe how expensive trucks are these days.
then saw the new Ford Bronco. my first impression was “um, i like the old ones better.”
i’m not sure how much this one cost but i’m pretty sure it will be around $60,000. i’d rather buy a classic one for half that price.
anyway, if you buy a Ford in Hawaii, go to Cutter Ford in Aiea. Do NOT go to Honolulu Ford in town. you will regret it for the rest of you life and i’ll tell you why very soon.
