back to the fire since it seems to be the biggest news in Hawaii right now. of course we were all shocked, but if my Grandpa was alive, he would say “just be happy that nobody got hurt. we can always rebuild.” and Grandpa’s always right…
these haunting images reminds me of what i saw right after the tsunami/earthquake in Japan. i saw so many Japanese families lose everything just like this. that was sad to see, but when they started to rebuild, that was an amazing process to experience. so yes, things are only going to get better.
Tony didn’t just lose his precious memories, he lost all his surfboards and dirt bikes too. i’m still amazed on how good my sister and Tony handled their emotions. it’s all about faith!
the living room was like charcoal. nothing survived in that room except for my sisters bible. it was in perfect condition. that was a chicken skin moment.
i heard from my brother that somebody posted a negative comment about what happened. my brother was so pissed off when he told me. i was just laughing because that’s how social media is. i told him to calm down. if you get angry at comments, you shouldn’t read comments. we can’t control the haters, the jealous people, and the unhappy people in this world. it’s not worth going down to their level. so just ignore and continue to live a happy life because what we do is more important than what other people do…
