another crisp morning. cool wind, clear sky, and the cleanest air in the world. i could see Lanai clearly which is 60 miles (96km) away. the visibility doesn’t get any better than this.
when i got to Diamond Head, i looked at the ocean and thought about going to Molokai. next time for sure!
the waves were so clean and smooth. not too many surfers out in the morning. it’s winter in Hawaii so there’s waves around the whole island. that spreads out the crowds…
i’m testing and tuning some new equipment. so far, so good. and it’s crazy how my tow in foiling, prone foiling, and short board surfing is complementing each other. i feel like when i get better in one, i get better in all. i’m feeling super connected right now…
i finally got the right straps that my big feet will fit in. this is going to be next level big wave foiling. can’t wait to try it out!!!
