i was going to free dive to catch dinner today but when i passed by the reefs, i saw a wave that was absolutely perfect. so i anchored Mayuki in the shallow reef. a lifeguard on a ski came by to see if i was ok. he said my boat looked like it got stuck on the reef. i told him thank you for checking up on me. the hull is designed to go over just 3′ of water so i can anchor in waist high deep water. sounds crazy and looks crazy, but that’s the beauty of Mayuki…
omg, the waves and conditions were so perfect. and there were only 2 guys out. i grabbed my foil and had the time of my life. it was the best small wave foil session i had in a while…
the waves were small but it felt like i was surfing on overhead waves because the foil has so much speed. i think speed makes me happy! haha…
the waves were so good that i ended up surfing pretty long. too tired to free dive so i can always go hunting tomorrow…
