i was watching on tv a concert of Hikaru Utada singing her popular song First Love. it brought back memories of 1999 because i remember when that song first came out. it was so beautiful and it became famous all around the world.
the First Love song was the opening song for this popular Japanese drama called Majo no Jouken. back then, i watched every drama including this one. the story was about a 26 year old female teacher falling in love with her 17 year old child student. after a few episodes, i was thinking to myself “is this ok? is this right? if this was to happen in America, the teacher would go to jail!” anyway, i stopped watching it because i couldn’t comprehend with the plot. but now that i think about it, i probably would have fallen love with a beautiful teacher like that too. haha…
