Ryu-san told me something i didn’t remember. he said last year when he was waiting far outside from me, i told him “stay by me and you will catch waves. or stay out there and you won’t catch a wave until next summer.” haha. i probably said that because i wanted him to stay right next to me so we can catch waves. i don’t remember but i know i will say anything to get my students to stay near me. i even called some students a buoy. haha. but it works.
10x Japan Bodyboard Champion Aoi Koike brought her son out to Bowls yesterday afternoon. her kid was sooooo cute! only 7 years old and probably a future champion too! Go Mahina!
i’m still waiting for another Molokai Trip. when the winds back down and when everybody is ready, let’s do it!
my Mom was showing us the plans my Grandpa Osaki designed and drew himself back in 1979. Grandpa didn’t only build our houses, he designed it too. cool…
one thing i recognize so well is my Grandpas handwriting. he was a principal so he stressed education. i’m glad he never saw my handwriting because it still looks like a 5 year old. haha.
