wow, the waves were perfect for the longboard today so we went longboarding!
i haven’t seen Yuta-kun in 5 years so i was excited to surf with him. from his very first wave, he was smiling the whole way!

on small days like today, longboarding is so fun!
what makes me the most happy is to see boys growing up and loving the ocean. i knew Yuta-kun for about 10 years so watching him enjoy surfing so much was a beautiful thing. now he’s a man who loves to surf. and he sure does it very well!
this was Yuta-kun and his Father Abe-san back in 2013. now Yuta-kun works with his Father at his pharmacy, and also surfs with his Father in Sendai. that’s so cool! last week Toda-san and i were driving all around Ishinomaki looking for their pharmacy, but couldn’t find it. that was a bummer but now i’m happy because i got to see him. and next month i will surf with Abe-san! can’t wait!
thank you Yuta-kun. i was very impressed with your style and confidence. and to see you smiling from the take off riding the whole way was a treat. you grew up to be a fine young man with a bright future ahead. keep on surfing and enjoy the rest of your Hawaiian vacation!
