when i woke up this morning, it was raining at my house. i knew the waves would be small but i also knew that there was something amazing going to happen.
it may be flat and boring on a surfboard, but not on a foilboard. i was flying on these little waves!
only the hard core foilers come out on days like this. Lucas is one of them.
Sam is probably the biggest Hawaiian foiler on the island.
Rick surfs on big days and foils on small days. smart guy.
so yes, this is what i was waiting for! raining at my house with clear skies over Waikiki? that means by the time i paddle out to the ocean, there is a 99% chance i will see a colorful double rainbow like this. today was no exception!
it’s crazy how so little can change so much. i’m just trying a new mast and everything feels different. but i’m pretty comfortable feeling uncomfortable. give me a couple more days and i should find the new balance…
