i still can’t believe it’s November and the waves are pumping! much bigger this morning and way less people. score! 
these are the kind of photos i’m looking for. good waves, good turn, and perfect morning lighting. Troy in the right place at the right time. after my morning session, i sped off to the North shore to watch the boys surf the contest. 
here is Kylan on the left with another good showing. and Isaiah Moniz on the right with an impressive 9th place result!

Joshua Moniz got 5th place which makes him Top 2 in the Regional ratings. the goal is to make the Top 5 for qualification for the Challenger Series. looks promising so far.
it was a beautiful day with beautiful people on at Sunset Beach. talking story, laughing, and watching the contest. always happy to hang out with the family.
wasn’t too happy driving in traffic back to town. it took me 2 hours!!! but when i remembered how my day started, i was happy again. nothing in life is perfect…
