EDDIE WOULD GO! And JOSH MONIZ WOULD GO! 
When this list of the invitees came out, I couldn’t believe it! Joshua Moniz got invited to the prestigious Eddie Aikau contest at Waimea Bay. It’s every surfers dream to be a part of this historic event and it’s a privilege to be on that short list of invitees. I’m so happy!!!! I just have one question. I don’t see Takayuki Wakita on the list? What happened? Anyway, I’m going to make sure I’m down at Waimea Bay if the Eddie is ON!
Getting back to yesterday. Once in a while, we will get a surprise swell in town during the winter. The surf reports really can’t report it because it’s very unpredictable. You just have to show up and hope the ocean wants you to ride her. I happily rode her till the end…
