I’m really proud of my students when they go back to Japan and challenge themselves. Whether it’s surfing, or anything to do with the ocean, it’s cool to see them growing. Nao-san is at some secret island that is one of the most beautiful places in Japan. She’s challenging herself and taking baby steps to learn more and more about the ocean. And she is never giving up!
The ocean teaches you about life, the ocean teaches you about obstacles, and the ocean teaches you to be humble. Trying to wing foil is something less than .0001% of the world could ever do. But don’t tell that to Nao-san. She is never giving up!
After days and days and days of struggling, this girl is now flying! Once you take flight, your life will never be the same. I’m so proud of you Nao-san!
