Due to these very strong winds, it seems like nobody’s been surfing. This is the third day in a row where the ocean was completely empty. I wasn’t expecting this normally crowded spot being deserted like this on a Saturday morning. 
Perfect time for another HSL contest. I sent the 2 girls out and they caught 20 waves each in the first hour. I didn’t have to yell, I wasn’t frustrated, and both girls came in with smiles. Everybody won today. I took video and was commentating the whole time. Ben Aipa style coaching is working pretty good! 
My buddy called me up and invited me out to the ocean today. We took the ski 2 miles straight out to the sea. It was only us, the birds, and the whales. 
We were flying out there screaming like 2 little kids. It was super windy, super wild, and super fun. 
I think I had more fun driving the ski today. I like the power and speed. It’s like riding a really fast motorcycle over the ocean surface. And I almost ran over my friend while I filmed him. Abunai…
