It’s so cool to see our niece Kelia Moniz on big billboards like this in other countries. In Hawaii, Kelia’s just a simple local surfer girl. But in the world, she’s the face of Roxy and is pretty famous. Her Uncles are very proud of her!
We’re staying at this hotel right in front of Mt. Fuji. This is the view from my room. Absolutely gorgeous!
I wasn’t expecting to surf at all in Japan so were so lucky to come across waves like this. Chest high and perfect conditions.
Takami-san and Toda-san leading the way for us. Through their local friends and local knowledge, they are putting us on the best surf spots.
Makoto-san is a local and is one of the best foilers around. He was pumping around for minutes at a time.
Sushi for 770 yen or $5. Unbelievable!
I can eat this everyday!
My brother Mason wanted to ride a bicycle around Fuji so he borrowed one from Toda-san.
He rode away so excited and happy. By the time he got back to the hotel 20 minutes later, he was dripping of sweat. Today was 36 degrees Celsius or 97 degrees Fahrenheit. You have to be crazy to ride a bike in this weather. A good experience and a lesson learned. Haha.
