We paddled out to a spot where nobody else was and surfed all morning, just the 3 of us. Actually, the girls paddled out first and I had to go look for them. And when I found them, they were giggling and surfing a perfect right all to themselves. They caught 20 waves each and I only caught 3. I was telling them that surfers are the most selfish people on earth. Haha.
Putting the surfboard on the rail gives you drive. We practiced that along with barrel riding.
Round 2, we went free diving. I took the girls to a cave where sharks live. I told them to swim into the cave but they refused. Smart girls.
Now the girls are a lot calmer. They can dive down deeper and hold their breath longer. One more step to becoming mermaids.
Then we moved spots and went hunting. My doctor says I need glasses but if you can spot a tako camouflaging himself in a hole from 25′ away, I think your eyes are ok.
If I spot a tako, all I’m thinking about is takoyaki. Thank you girls for the photos.
