This entrance to the Hilton Hotel was blocked off for the past 40 days. Hundreds of strikers blocking it, yelling, and screaming. I know people who stayed at the hotel during the strike and they told me it was very unpleasant. Paying $400/night for a room with no service and strikers yelling all day long. That’s not a good way to spend a vacation here in Hawaii. I also know people that were striking and they told me they had no choice. I understand both sides and just thankful that it’s over.
I don’t allow electronic devices or the television on when the kids come over to play. They only get to play with toys and their loud crazy Uncle. Haha. But they seem to love it. Then when they get tired and fussy, or it’s time to change their diaper, I simply send them home. Haha.
My brothers and I all played little league baseball. The Moniz kids all played too. Now it’s the next generation of the family playing. It’s pretty funny because our family is big so we have the biggest cheering section. Here is coach Micah pitching to Keahi.
The Shohei Ohtani swing!
Honouliwai is pretty funny. He’s running all over the field bumping into his teammates trying to get every ball. Then during the game, he runs to the cooler and drinks Gatorade whenever he feels like it. It’s pretty hilarious. Now I have free comedy every Saturday afternoon.
