I saw this unique looking car in a parking lot in Wakayama. It looked like a G-Class Mercedes, but very small.
I think this guy made his Suzuki Jimny look like a Mercedes. I thought that was pretty cool.
For some reason, Wakayama has a lot of Indian restaurants. Something we don’t have in Hawaii so I was craving this kind of food. I ordered the 3 combo curry with chicken plate. Side order of naan. This turned out to be my favorite lunch in Japan. Can’t wait to go back.
3 surfboards in a 6’3 surfboard bag, then put into this 7’2 surfboard bag. Extra padding and extra space. $75 excess baggage fee on Hawaiian Airlines back to Hawaii. The best way to bring surfboards and all kinds of goodies back to Hawaii.
Right when I walked into my house this morning, I cooked a cup of rice. And right when it was done, I smothered fresh Yamari shirasu all over it. That was my lunch.
Then dinner, put some more shirasu over my salad. So good!!!
Atsuko-san gave me this fish she prepared. It reminded me of the first time I went spearfishing in Wakayama. I caught a fish, she cleaned it, cut it, and cooked it for me. I will never forget eating that delicious nitsuke made fish with an ume on the side. And I will never forgot it because it was the first time in my life I saw a woman clean and cook a fish so good. I thought that was the coolest thing ever!
