Round 1: Afternoon. I took a break this morning because I had 2 rounds of surf this afternoon planned. And OMG, the waves were coming up!!! Way bigger than yesterday and way less people.
Nakahodo-san back in town. Perfect timing because this afternoon was the biggest it’s been in a while. Good practice for Waimea Bay this winter! Haha.
Round 2: Evening. Lots of turtles and lots of happy first time surfers.
Ishikawa-san is very talented. For someone who surfed for the very first time, he did great.
I just love this angle. Surfing along with a smile.
Ryo-san was next. Very energetic and a very positive first time surfer.
Being able to stand up on your very first surf session is the goal. So happy to see it happen.

Pretty stoked to see her ride this wave almost all the way to shore.
